The GIANT Flea Market is open every Saturday and Sunday 7:00am until 3:00pm, weather permitting.  We are closed every Labor Day weekend for a special event.

WELCOME to our GIANT Flea Market, one of the last true old fashioned, open air markets in Georgia!  We hope you have a pleasant and successful day selling your goods here.  Below please find our rules and regulations for sellers.

FLEA MARKET RATES, RULES & REGULATIONS

BUYERS:  Buyers enjoy free parking and a low $0.25 per person admission fee.

SELLERS:

·        Spaces are $10 EACH, cash only.  Spaces will be assigned to you upon arrival, no reservation necessary, and requesting a specific space is not allowed. 

·        Vendors may only purchase up to 4 spaces. No more than 4 spaces are allowed per Vendor. All spaces will have the $10 cleaning deposit charged. Example: 2 spaces = $20 deposit, 3 spaces = $30 deposit.

·        Each space is approximately 18’x18’.  You must provide your own tables, chairs, canopy, etc.  Please park your vehicle horizontally behind your selling space.

·        Large trucks (e.g. U-HAUL STYLE), vehicles towing trailers or sellers with multiple vehicles per space must pay for TWO spaces.

·        BE SURE TO GET A RECEIPT FOR YOUR SPACE RENTAL AND MAKE SURE IT IS ACCURATE. This is very important.

·        Threat of rain, excessive wind or storms:  NO REFUNDS DUE TO BAD WEATHER. 

CLEANING DEPOSIT:

·        Each seller will pay a $10 refundable cleaning deposit per space. 

·        You must leave your space clean and free of trash or unsold merchandise.

·        DO NOT discard items (including empty boxes) next to trash cans or in our dumpster!  Doing so will FORFIET your deposit refund. Our policy is that “you bring it in, you bring it out”.  If you want your $10 back, take your trash with you.

·        Sellers dumping trash will be subject to expulsion without a deposit refund.

·        Deposit will be refunded when our manager (usually seen on a golf cart) inspects your space and signs off on your receipt.  Take your signed receipt to the cashier and she will issue your $10 cash refund.  Receipts must be signed by a manager and must be presented to the cashier BEFORE 3:00 pm or no refund will be given. 

·        No receipt, no refund, no exceptions.  Your receipt is like a $10 bill!  Don’t lose it!

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO BE SOLD:

·        Any prepared or ready to eat foods, including but not limited to: sandwiches, pizza, chicken, BBQ, baked goods, candies or snacks.  Raw fruits or vegetables are permitted, however.

·        Beverages of ANY kind: bottled or canned drinks, coffee, water, and smoothies.

·        Weapons or ammo of any kind including but not limited to: rifles, pistols, knives, swords, bow and arrows, crossbows, sling shots, and BB or Pellet guns.

·        Any type of counterfeit merchandise including but not limited to: bootlegged “burned” DVD’s or CD’s, imitation designer clothes, shoes, watches and accessories.

·        Any type of fireworks.

·        Any type of medicine or pharmaceutical items.

·        Any type of drug paraphernalia such as pipes or bongs.

·        Any type of pornography including DVD’s, VHS tapes, magazines and novelty items.

·        Live animals such as pets or livestock.

·        Alcoholic beverages or tobacco in any form.

·        Tattooing or tattoo supplies.

ADDITIONAL GENERAL RULES:

·         Tents, tarps and umbrellas are not allowed on windy days.  All tarps must have 15lb. weight per leg minimum.  Please secure glass items such as lamps, vases, mirrors and pictures with glass, etc.

·         No space switching.  Vendors must stay between the white arrows of their space.

·         No power equipment or tools may be started within 50’ of the selling area.

·         No alcoholic beverages allowed on the premises.

·         Fighting will result in permanent expulsion.

·         Vendors will be warned only once about the use of profanity before being asked to leave. This is a family atmosphere.

·         We reserve the right to refuse entry to The Starlight and The Starlight Giant Flea Market because of behaviors past or present or infractions of Starlight Rules.

·         Use of ANY racial terms BY ANYONE will result in being asked to leave.

·         Anyone who does not adhere to all of the above rules will be subject to permanent expulsion.
