Here are some things you should know to have the best experience at The Starlight Drive-In:
Our Movie Information Line updates every Thursday Night after we close and our Website updates every Thursday at Midnight.
The Starlight does not accept debit or credit cards, however we DO have an ATM available at the box office and in the snack bars for your convenience.
General Admission is just $7 per person, kids 3 - 9 years old are $1, absolutely the best movie value in Atlanta! Your ticket buys you double feature movies, two movies for the price of one.
Please note that your Ticket is good only for the Double Feature you purchased it for. You cannot jump screens. If you buy a Ticket for Screen 5 you must stay on Screen 5. You cannot jump over to Screen 3. Please remember, Movies are the product we sell and your ticket is good only for the Movies you purchased.
If you'd like to watch another movie on a different screen, please visit the box office and purchase a separate ticket for that program. Occasionally with extremely long feature movies, we are not able to play a 2nd feature and your ticket only buys you admission to that single extra long feature film.
PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS! The lines to get into the Starlight can get rather long, especially close to showtime. We'll open the gates at 7:00 PM every Friday and Saturday night so you can relax, have a picnic, toss a frisbee and relax. Our snack bars will also be open early for your convenience. So, come early, hang out and get a great parking spot for the movie - sure beats waiting in line!
Gates open:
Monday through Thursday: 8:00 PM
Friday and Saturday: 7:00 PM
Sunday: 8:00 PM
Movies start this time of year at 9:00 PM
The Starlight is open every night of the year! Rain or clear skies! We cannot offer refunds for bad weather.
Movie sound comes through your FM radio. You must have a working Radio or Boom Box to hear the Movie. We do not have radios available for you, so please bring your own.
Bring Coolers and Picnics if you'd like and have a Party, but for safety of everyone no Glass Bottles.
You can Grill at The Starlight but you must be done before the Movies start. You cannot grill during the Movies as it is unfair to other Patrons. Please do not pour Coals out anywhere at the Starlight. This is for everyone's safety.
Please no bare feet!
Please no Pets!
Please bring you Lawn Chairs and Picnic supplies but we ask you to set up in front of your Vehicle for your safety and so other Patrons have the ability to park their Cars as well.
Please do not sit on top of your Vehicle, it is dangerous and blocks other's view.
Please be mindful of our No Parking signs. They are there to keep you safe and allow easy exit from The Starlight when your Movies are done.
Please no Fireworks!
If you have a concern or you are experiencing Car Trouble you can ask for help at either Snack Bar, any of our Lot Attendants, Managers or Officers on Duty (You'll see them on Golf Carts). We will do what we can to solve the problem or get your Car running again. We suggest you crank your car between Movies for a few minutes to make sure you don't drain your battery.
Please turn off your Headlights. Your Headlights disturb other Patrons while they are enjoying their Movies. If your Vehicle's Headlights cannot be turned off, please consult your Owner's Manual to see if there are instructions to do so. Dark Headlights at the Drive-In are Good Manners.
We are proud of our Drive-In and work hard to keep it Safe and Clean. You can help by using the many Trash Cans available around the Lot. Should you see something that needs attention please let us know.
The Starlight Drive-In has been open Since 1949 and is a Living Piece of American History.
Thanks for Helping Us Keep Atlanta History Alive!
